Description

Unrefined Wheatgerm Oil

Description – We carry both refined and unrefined wheatgerm oils. Refined is often chosen for formulating creams and lotions as it is odourless and will not colour the product. Unrefined has a stronger colour and aroma but is also more nourishing. Wheatgerm has a very high, naturally occurring vitamin E content, making it self-preserving. It can even be added to other oils to extend their life. A food wheat allergy may or may not mean you will also have an allergy to the oil used on your skin – we advise a test patch.
